The Technology Department prides itself in being an educational technology resource for our District. Our Department is responsible for:

•· Wiring Infrastructure maintenance and capacity upgrades
•· Printer maintenance
•· Wired and wireless network maintenance, upgrades, and management
•· E-mail Services
•· Voice Services
•· Website maintenance, upgrades, and management
•· POS (Point of Sale) maintenance
•· Hardware and software purchasing
•· Federal and State grant/program administration
•· A/V maintenance, upgrades, and management
•· Data Management
•· DR (Disaster Recovery) Management
•· Professional Developement 
 

On a daily basis the Department handles approximately 15-20 repair work orders. Our District has a centralized NOC (Network Operations Center) from which we manage and maintain our network services. As part of the IVTA (Imperial Valley Telecommunications Agency) we connect our remote sites via private Gigabit fiber optics. This allows the rapid and secure deployment of technology services without the obstacle of bandwidth.
